The Mini-Duct Hunter™ features a 22 AWG copper trace wire embedded in a durable fiberglass rod, allowing for detection at depths of up to 10 feet. This rodder is ideal for tracing pipes and conduits ranging from 1/2 in. to 1-1/2 in. in diameter, providing precise results without the need for disruptive excavation.
By inserting the Mini-Duct Hunter™ rod into a pipe and energizing the wire, a detectable signal is transmitted to the surface, where a receiver picks it up—enabling accurate tracing inside walls, floors, and underground.
