Buying local supports local communities

This season, Intermountain Sales is proud to sponsor Eaton Volleyball Academy and the young athletes who make it what it is.

Why we're behind EVA

Our customers are the crews, contractors and municipalities of northern Colorado and the Mountain West. They're also parents, coaches and neighbors, and the towns they work in are the same towns these athletes come home to.

When Eaton Volleyball Academy reached out looking for local partners, it was an easy decision. We'd rather put something back into those communities than simply do business in them.

More than volleyball

Eaton Volleyball Academy gives young female athletes the technical and physical training to reach their potential, no matter their age or where they're starting from.

The club's coaches are just as focused on what happens off the court: character, respect, commitment and sportsmanship, along with life skills like time management, setting priorities and bouncing back from a tough match.

The communities EVA serves

  • Kersey
  • Wiggins
  • Fort Morgan
  • Brush
  • Strasburg
  • Weld Central
  • Greeley

and the surrounding communities of northeastern Colorado.

At Platte Valley High School in Kersey.

What local support makes possible

Room on the team for every dedicated athlete

Sponsorships help make sure cost isn't the reason a committed player misses out on high-level training.

Room to keep growing

Continued training and competition give athletes a path to build fundamentals and keep being challenged as they improve.

Travel tournaments

Out-of-town events broaden what these athletes see and give them team experiences they'll remember long after the season ends.

"Partnerships like this make a meaningful difference in helping us provide a great experience for our players and families."
Gwen Forster, Club Director, Eaton Volleyball Academy

Local roots

Our story didn't start in a boardroom. In the 1980s, Back Country Badger began building ATV-mounted drills out of the back of Fay Myers Motorcycle Shop: compact hydraulic rigs that could take soil samples on sites a full-size drill truck couldn't reach.

In 1991, Back Country Badger purchased Intermountain Sales, then a Metrotech dealer, and we've done business as Intermountain Sales ever since. More than three decades later, we're still a Colorado company serving the people who keep our communities running.

Why buying local matters

When you choose Intermountain Sales, you're supporting more than a local business. Your orders help us employ people here, keep a local team in the field, and invest back into the communities where our customers, employees and their families live and work.

Sponsoring Eaton Volleyball Academy is one small way we get to do that.

Thank you

To our customers: your business is what makes support like this possible. And to Gwen, the EVA coaches, and every athlete and family in the program, thank you for letting us be part of your season.
