The Direct Connection Lead includes two cables: the red clip attaches to the conductor being located, while the black clip connects to a suitable ground (a ground stake is provided with the transmitter). Various options are available to suit specific industries and conditions.
Telco Lead
The Telco Clip version is ideal for telephone cables when direct access to the cable sheath is not possible. Its "bed of nails" design pierces the insulation, allowing contact with the sheath. The Telco Clip is equipped with an insulation-piercing bed of nails and spike for effective connection.
The Direct Connection Lead with Telco Clip is compatible with the Loc and Loc3 series transmitters.
