The vLoc3 Series Accessory A-Frame is designed to detect ground faults in pipes and cables. For pipes, these faults are typically coating defects, while in cables, they are often due to insulation damage that causes the metallic sheath (or internal conductor) to come into contact with the ground.
This accessory is intended for use with the vLoc3-Pro range of locators and requires a fault-find signal applied to the faulty conductor from a compatible Vivax-Metrotech transmitter with fault-finding mode.
