The vLoc3-MLA (Marker Locator Adapter) is designed for quick, easy, and precise location of buried EMS markers. Once a marker is located, the MLA provides the depth of cover with a simple press of a button.

The MLA attaches to the base of vLoc3-Pro, vLoc3-XLF, vLoc3 RTK-Pro, vLoc3-9800, and vLoc3-5000 receivers. When connected, two marker-related operating modes are enabled on the receivers. In dedicated marker mode, the receiver displays a peak bar graph with signal strength, marker type, and depth to the marker. In dual marker mode, all of the above are displayed alongside the standard utility locate screen, which includes left/right arrows and a compass.

The plug-and-play MLA detects any of nine marker types, under optimal conditions, buried up to 6’/2m and large flat markers up to 9’/3m.
