The vLoc3-Cam is a simple, user-friendly sonde locator built for sewer, drain, and utility crews. Its omni-directional antenna lets you approach the sonde from any direction, and on-screen arrows guide you to the front or rear locate point and then directly over the sonde.

Locate Modes
Sonde Locate Mode
Locate sondes from most major push camera and crawler camera systems. The vLoc3-Cam supports multiple sonde frequencies and guides the operator step by step to the sonde's exact position.
Pushrod Trace Mode
A secondary display lets you trace the path of the pushrod inside the pipe. With an optional portable transmitter, the same mode can be used for general pipe tracing.
Passive Locate Modes: Power and Radio
Detect live power lines, CATV, telephone lines, and metallic pipes carrying 50/60 Hz signals from nearby or overhead power sources, with no transmitter required.
Active Locating at 83.1 kHz
Paired with a portable transmitter, the 83.1 kHz frequency is ideal for tracing the pushrod. It also works well for:
- Water and gas utilities, including larger pipes with bell housings and gaskets
- Locating ungrounded, small-diameter drop wires
- Inducing a signal onto services when direct connection isn't possible

The vLoc3-Cam is one of the most user-friendly sonde locators on the market today. Its omni-directional antenna array allows you to approach the sonde from any direction, with directional arrows guiding the operator first to the front or rear locate point, and then precisely to the sonde’s position.
The vLoc3-Cam supports multiple sonde frequencies, making it compatible with most major push cameras and crawler cameras available. In Pushrod Trace mode, a secondary display is provided for tracing the path of the pushrod within the pipe, or for pipe tracing using an optional portable transmitter.
