The Wachs DW Guillotine® 208 is a fast, safe, and efficient tool for cutting 2-inch to 8-inch (DN50-200) pipes. It works with various materials, including steel, ductile iron, cast iron, concrete (CA), poly, PVC, and mixed media. Secured directly to the pipe, the DWG 208 utilizes a fully enclosed, high-speed diamond-infused cutting wire, delivering precise and rapid cuts. Its compact, collapsible design features durable stainless-steel construction, making it easy to store and transport.

Every DWG 208 includes a custom protective carrier, a carrier-mounted water tank, and spray lubricant. Unlike traditional saws, it avoids binding and eliminates kickback risks caused by pipe compression or shifting, making it far safer than gasoline-powered chain saws or abrasive wheel devices. Powered hydraulically via a sealed loop, the DWG 208 can operate underwater and eliminates the dangers of gas fumes in confined spaces.

The diamond wire is fully enclosed for safety, except at the cutting area, and rotates slightly during operation to ensure all diamond elements contact the workpiece. This design ensures exceptional wire longevity, giving the DW series one of the lowest costs per cut and significantly reducing consumable expenses over the life of the machine.
