The RS-2 Dedicated Valve Handwheel Adapter Kit includes everything needed for a secure, permanent mounting to valve handwheels. This kit allows operators to quickly and efficiently attach the RS-2 Rising Stem Valve Exerciser for power-assisted valve operation.

- U-bolts
- Dedicated Valve Handwheel Adapter Plate
- Drive Fingers
Mounting & Setup Procedure
- Attach the Adapter Plate:
- Mount the handwheel adapter plate to the rising stem valve using the supplied U-bolts.
- Drill holes into the adapter plate to align with the handwheel spokes.
- Determine Hole Placement:
- Center the dedicated handwheel plate hole over the rising stem screw.
- Mark the hole locations for drilling.
- Secure Drive Fingers:
- Attach drive fingers to the RS-2 drive hub using the provided slots on the actuator's bottom.
- Use 1/4-20 x 5/8-inch socket head cap screws to secure the fingers.
- Position the RS-2:
- Place the RS-2 Rising Stem Valve Exerciser onto the mounted adapter plate. Ensure the drive fingers align with the adapter plate slots.
- Lock the Actuator:
- Insert the included fast-pins into the provided holes to secure the RS-2 to the adapter plate.
