The E. H. Wachs Hydro-Vac Skid, Diesel is a fully pre-assembled system mounted on a durable steel skid, designed for quick and easy installation on a flatbed truck. Powered by a Tier 4F-compliant Kubota 1.1L, I-3 4-stroke liquid-cooled IDI diesel engine, it delivers reliable power for all integrated functions.

Customizable and Upgradeable

Built on the Wachs Standard Builder Skid Platform, the Hydro-Vac Skid is highly configurable to meet your specific needs and budget. Its modular design allows you to start with the features you need today and upgrade later as your requirements grow. The Standard Builder Platform supports an à la carte selection of valve maintenance modules, offering unparalleled versatility. For example, you can begin with a Hydro-Vac Skid equipped with hydraulics and add an ERV-750 Valve Exerciser in the future.

Pre-Assembled and Ready to Install

Wachs skid systems come pre-installed and pre-wired, ensuring the unit is ready to run with minimal installation effort. The heavy-duty skid features:

A 3-inch tall formed and welded frame
Integrated 8-inch full-length fork slot tubes for easy handling and transport

The system bolts securely to your truck flatbed, significantly reducing labor costs and installation time.

Powerful and Efficient

A step up in power, capacity, and size from the Trav-L-Vac 300, the Hydro-Vac Skid includes:
A 500 CFM at 11 in Hg vacuum system for effective debris removal
A 250-gallon spoils tank with a hydraulic-powered slide, tilt, and dump system. This twin-cylinder, electric-over-hydraulic setup moves the tank outward before tilting to a 55-degree angle, ensuring easy and efficient debris discharge through a powered latching rear door

Integrated Pressure Washer System

The Hydro-Vac Skid also includes:
A 2.5 GPM @ 3000 PSI pressure washer system
3-gallon anti-freeze tank for cold-weather protection
95-gallon vertical water tank
Suction wands in 2-1/2 in, 1-1/4 in, and 7/8 in sizes
Short and long wash-down guns
20-foot suction hose and 50-foot retractable hose reel

Valve Exerciser Compatibility

The Hydro-Vac Skid is equipped with vacuum, power spoils tank, and power wash systems only; a valve exerciser is not included. However, valve exercisers like the ERV-750 can be ordered separately.
