The E.H. Wachs Hydro-Vac Trailer offers a safe, non-destructive, and cost-effective solution for precise utility excavation. This system minimizes backfill and restoration needs while preventing underground damage, providing an accurate and efficient method for soil excavation and locating underground utilities. Powered by a reliable Kubota 4-stroke diesel engine, the trailer includes a Pintle hook for connection to a medium-duty pickup or larger truck.

Built on the versatile Wachs Standard Builder Trailer Platform, the Hydro-Vac Trailer can be tailored to your specific needs and budget. With its future-proof design, you can purchase the features you need now and add upgrades later. The Standard Builder Platform supports an à la carte selection of valve maintenance modules, providing exceptional flexibility. For instance, you can configure the trailer with hydraulics today and add an ERV-750 Valve Exerciser in the future.

A step up from the smaller Trav-L-Vac 300, the Hydro-Vac Trailer delivers enhanced power, capacity, and size. Key features include:

500 CFM at 11 in Hg vacuum system, providing powerful debris removal capabilities
250-gallon spoils tank with a hydraulic-powered slide, tilt, and dump system featuring a power-latching rear door. The twin-cylinder, electric-over-hydraulic dump system moves the tank outward before tilting to a 55-degree angle, ensuring efficient debris discharge

Integrated Power Wash System

The Hydro-Vac Trailer also includes a robust power wash system driven by the common power train:
2.5 GPM @ 3000 PSI pressure washer
3-gallon antifreeze tank for cold weather protection
95-gallon vertical water tank
Suction wands in 2-1/2 in, 1-1/4 in, and 7/8 in sizes
Short and long wash-down guns
20 ft suction hose and 50 ft retractable hose reel

Additional Details

The Hydro-Vac Trailer includes vacuum, power spoils tank, and power wash systems only. A valve exerciser is not included but can be ordered separately.
