Wachs Utility Products Standard LX Skid is one of our best-selling solutions, engineered to handle all aspects of valve maintenance programs for municipalities or water districts. Delivering the same advantages as the Standard LX Trailer, this skid-mounted system offers a compact, bolt-on alternative. Each unit is preinstalled and prewired on a robust steel skid, making it ready for quick installation on your flatbed truck.

The Standard LX Skid features our industry-leading ERV-750 extended reach valve operator, offering a 13-foot (3.96-meter) reach and 750 ft/lbs. of torque. This system sets the standard for an upgradeable, all-in-one platform capable of transporting essential valve maintenance and vacuum tools to the field. Designed for durability, it’s the ideal choice for municipalities and contractors seeking a reliable, long-lasting solution for self-contained valve maintenance.

The skid is powered by our exclusive VITALS software, which incorporates "No Assumptions" logic to minimize risks of valve damage. Developed over three decades, VITALS ensures precise operation by preventing misdirection and over-torquing. The software's mobile and desktop modules allow users to set torque limits and record critical infrastructure data, including valve location, operating direction, and torque applied.

The Standard LX Skid VMS Diesel comes equipped with a wireless handheld controller with datalogger and is powered by a dependable Kubota 4-stroke diesel engine. Standard components include:

A 500 CFM, 11in Hg vacuum system
A 250-gallon spoils tank with Wachs’ exclusive hydraulic slide, tilt, and powered rear discharge system
A 2.5 GPM @ 3000 PSI pressure washer with an 80-gallon freshwater tank
An HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit) with an HTMA Class II circuit, 10-gallon reservoir, and fan-cooled heat exchanger, delivering up to 8 GPM @ 2000 PSI

Packed with storage and essential accessories, the Standard LX Skid eliminates the need for multiple trips by including all the tools necessary for advanced valve maintenance. It can also be upgraded with the optional TM-7 HD Plus valve exerciser, which delivers 2,500 ft/lbs of torque, making it ideal for managing larger or more challenging valves.
