The vLoc3-ML with an integrated transceiver is engineered for contractors and utility companies to accurately detect and pinpoint a wide range of buried passive electronic markers. Combining Vivax-Metrotech’s advanced line locating technology with electronic marker system (EMS) detection, the vLoc3-ML is a single tool capable of detecting and measuring the depth of commercially available EMS markers.

Switch between line locating and marker detection modes with a single press of the receiver’s softkey. The user-friendly display allows easy access to all features, including frequency and marker selection, dual marker modes, and the main menu for advanced options. The optional Tx-Link provides remote control of the transmitter from distances of over 300m/985ft.

Built on the vLoc3 digital signal processing platform, the vLoc3-ML features advanced line locating capabilities such as Signal Direction, Vector mode, Transverse Graph mode, Plan View, Guidance Compass, Distortion Alerts, and Left/Right Guidance Arrows, making line and cable locating more intuitive.

With built-in data logging and GPS, the vLoc3-ML offers complete data acquisition. All locate data and instrument information can be downloaded for review or analysis using Vivax-Metrotech’s free MyLocator3 app or online via the VMMap app.
