Loc3 Series 10-Watt Broadband Transmitter

The 10-Watt broadband transmitter offers selectable induction and direct connection frequencies ranging from 98Hz to 200kHz, along with Signal Direction (SD) mode, fault-finding capabilities, and true resistance measurement up to 1 MΩ. Its 2" x 1" dot matrix display with an LED backlight provides detailed readouts of output current, connection type, voltage, resistance, frequency, volume, battery status, and high voltage warnings.

The Signal Direction (SD) mode ensures that the located line is the correct target connected to the transmitter. When a transmitter sends a signal through a target line, it travels back via the ground or ground stake, but it can also return along adjacent utilities, complicating identification. These return signals often travel in the opposite direction to the transmitted signal. The SD feature detects the direction of the signal, helping to accurately identify the target line.

Housed in a lightweight, rugged, and ergonomic IP54 casing, the transmitter provides consistent current output in direct connect, clamp, or induction modes, with protection against accidental connection to incoming voltages up to 240V.
