The vLoc3-Pro from Vivax-Metrotech sets the standard for advanced buried utility detection, combining powerful signal interpretation with user-friendly controls and precision data logging. Built for professional utility locators, municipalities, and contractors, the vLoc3-Pro ensures accurate detection and analysis of underground cables, pipes, and passive markers—reducing the risk of damage and improving jobsite safety.

Equipped with dual 3D omnidirectional antenna arrays, the vLoc3-Pro quickly identifies and displays signal distortion on its ultra-bright 4.3” color LCD screen. The locator offers a full suite of visual locating modes including Vector Locate for automatic offset detection, Plan View for real-time cable orientation mapping, and the Transverse Graph to visualize signal distortion across multiple planes. The Sonde Screen mode provides intuitive arrow-guided navigation—even when the sonde is positioned vertically in the pipe.

Highly customizable, the vLoc3-Pro supports a wide range of active and passive frequencies (98Hz to 200kHz) and features advanced capabilities like Signal Direction (SD) to identify the direction of applied current. Operators can configure vibration and sound alerts for shallow depth, signal overload, or interference, and switch easily between Peak, Null, Delta, and Omni-directional modes.

With built-in data logging (up to 50 million records), the vLoc3-Pro integrates with Vivax-Metrotech’s VMMap cloud platform and the MyLocator3 desktop app, enabling seamless data transfer, GPS-tagged logs, and map-based job reporting. Optional accessories include Bluetooth modules for pairing with external GPS devices, an EMS Marker Locator Adapter (MLA), a remote antenna, and multiple transmitter options ranging from 1W to 25W.
