The vLoc3-9800’s patented Distance Sensitive Left/Right Guidance system, along with an audible tone, helps you precisely trace the path of buried utilities. Current measurement and a compass line direction indicator confirm you're aligned with your target. This versatile receiver supports the necessary frequencies for telecom, power, CATV, gas, water, and sewer utilities.
The user-configurable vLoc3-9800 series includes two passive locate modes, fault-find mode, and a wide range of configurable frequencies from 98Hz to 200kHz. User-adjustable visual and vibration alerts provide warnings for signal overload or excessive swinging. Optional plug-and-play modules include Bluetooth for external GPS devices and the vLoc3-MLA (marker locator adapter) for locating buried markers.
The free VM-MAP smartphone app allows users to create real-time maps with GPS data, locator information such as time, date, depth of cover, and current on the line, and even add custom comments. Data captured via external GPS through Bluetooth can be downloaded for further analysis, or used with GIS systems and Google Maps.
