The vLoc3-XLF locator is specifically designed for long-line locating using extra-low frequencies. These frequencies are optimized to travel over extended distances with minimal coupling to nearby lines and reduced susceptibility to signal distortion. Ideal applications include long-haul fiber lines, metropolitan loop networks, and pipeline transmission lines.

Equipped with two sets of screened 3D antennas, the vLoc3-XLF easily detects and displays signal distortion on its bright full-color screen. In addition to classic locate screens, the vLoc3 series offers new advanced locate perspectives, including:

Vector Locate: Fully automatic, non-walk-over locating.
Transverse Graph: Displays both peak and null simultaneously, revealing signal distortion instantly.
Plan View: Shows the cable's relative orientation at any angle.
Sonde Screen: Provides guidance arrows for easy navigation to the sonde.

The highly user-configurable vLoc3 series features eight passive locate modes, fault-find mode, and a range of configurable frequencies from 32Hz to 32.8kHz. Users can set visual and mechanical vibration alerts for warnings about shallow depth, overload, overhead cables, and excessive swinging. Additional plug-and-play options include an optional Bluetooth module for external GPS devices and the vLoc3-MLA (marker locator adapter), which connects through the accessory socket to locate buried markers.
